Ho Ho Ho – Christmas on the Canal brings Holiday Fun to the village!

Santa brings in the Holidays!!!

Held in November each year, residents are invited to gather in downtown Bolivar for activities and a parade bringing Santa to town!

2025 brings more activities, thanks to some new businesses and sponsors! Children can enjoy crafts, button making, ornament decorating, face painting and hair tinsel throughout the event at multiple locations. New this year is the chance to do some excavating by moving gravel with an excavator! Compliments of Red Oak Excavating.

The parade begins at 3pm, with Santa arriving via fire truck! Find him inside the Christmas House afterward, where families are welcome to take pictures. Spikeman DJ takes over the tunes after the parade, and there’s still plenty to do!

Enjoy free hot chocolate at the new Vagabond Coffeehouse inside Coopers Hall, visit vendors, and catch a train or hay ride around the village!

Dress for the weather – warming stations will be available.

Santa’s mailbox will be set up at the Christmas House. Children writing to the big guy who include their address will receive a reply from Santa himself! (For a reply, your letter should be in by Dec. 1, 2025)
