STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL 5K and SEEDLING SCAMPER Fun Run
Was held Saturday, June 6, 2026
This is a flat, fast 5k course that winds in and around the village.
Medals for all 5k finishers and patches for all Scamper finishers were passed out.
Seedling Scamper started at 8:45am and the 5k began at 9:00am.
2026 Race Notes:
The Strawberry Festival 5k sold out before race day!
The course started in the village and ran south out of town through the industrial park. It then wound through some of the streets and alleys in the village, back to the finish line.
Seedling Scamper is a free kids run for ages 10 & under that took place before the 5k. It is about 1/2 mile long, and the kids got to cross the finish line, for a photo finish for the parents. Each scamper received a patch at the finish line.
Scout Pack 92 was on hand at the water stop near the halfway mark again this year!
Proceeds from this race are to aid the Bolivar Main Street Association in putting on such events as the Strawberry Festival, Canal Street Cruise-In, and Christmas on the Canal.
